PLACING ORDERS

If you are unsure about which size to order please do contact us prior to ordering and we will be more than happy to help.

All tshirts, sweatshirts and hoodies run large and we always recommend sizing down if you prefer a less 'oversized' style of fit.

As a general guide and from customer feedback, we recommend the following:

XS - UK Size 6 - 8

S - UK Size 8 - 10

M - UK Size 12 - 14

L - UK Size 14 - 16

XL - UK Size 16 - 18

XXL - UK Size 18 - 22

Right Here! We only accept orders via this website 'outsidetherain.com' or you can also find us on Etsy and Not On The High Street.

We do not take payment via Instagram, email or any other channels. Our site is hosted via the Shopify platform, so you can relax in the knowledge that your payment and account details will be secure. All payment information is taken through Shopify to ensure this is the case. Outside The Rain does not see nor store any of your payment card details.

Firstly, thank you so much for your order. As a small business it means a lot.

Once you have placed your order on our website, payment will be debited and you will receive an email confirmation.  

If you have not received a confirmation email shortly after placing an order, please contact us via email: outsidetherainstore@gmail.com and we will look into what's happened for you. Please check your email spam/junk folder before contacting us, just incase for some reason our email ends up there.

You will also receive an email as soon as your order has been dispatched so you know your order has been posted and is heading your way.

We want each order to feel like a gift. So all of our clothing items are wrapped in biodegradable tissue paper and posted out in our recycled and biodegradable green mailers, or in brown boxes for larger orders.

We feel these options are more durable for postage (and the weather!). They are also lighter in weight, so therefore helps to keep postage costs down.

Our prints are posted in hard-backed letterbox friendly envelopes.

All our postage costs are set by Royal Mail.

UK Delivery on all of our products is FREE!

Please note that any custom charges or fees are the customers sole responsibility and Outside The Rain cannot be held responsible for any additional fees that may occur.

We are UK based so all our orders will be posted/shipped out from the UK and via Royal Mail.

Each item is produced on a 'made-to-order personalised' basis to reduce unnecessary waste.

Our current turnaround times are:

Approx 2 weeks on all Apparel before dispatch. However please contact us prior to ordering if you need your item sooner and we will do our very best to get the item/s to you quicker.

1-2 working days for Prints before dispatch.

Please take our timings into consideration when placing orders, especially if any of the items are for gifts.

You will receive an email once your order has been dispatched (please check your Spam folder incase the email ends up there). Delivery Times are then as follows....

UK DELIVERY - All items are sent via Royal Mail and you can expect to receive your order 1-3 days after dispatch / your dispatch email.

REST OF THE WORLD - All items are sent via Royal Mail International Shipping and will vary from Country to Country. Some items will arrive quickly and some may take several weeks to arrive depending on where you live. Delivery times are set by Royal Mail and your local Mail Delivery Services. If you would like your items sooner please contact us before placing an order and we will happily arrange with you an alternative postal service.

UK Customers

2023 - Providing there's no Royal Mail strike action planned. Our final order date will be Friday 8th December 2023.

Orders placed after the 8th December may not arrive in time for Christmas Day.

We will also be closing for the Holidays - so any orders placed after Friday 15th December will not be created or dispatched until early January 2024.

EU & Worldwide Customers

The final order date for a Christmas Deliver will be Wednesday 22nd November 2023. Orders placed after the 22nd November may not arrive in time for Christmas Day.

Returns and exchanges

Due to the fact that each item is personalised to your specifications to be produced on a 'made-to-order/customised' basis. We unfortunately cannot accept returns or exchanges unless the item is faulty or damaged.

Please ensure you double check sizes before ordering.  All information relating to sizing can be found on each relevant product page. We recommend measuring against one of your favourite shirts for a more accurate/preferred sizing choice.

I MADE A MISTAKE ON MY ORDER - If you have made a mistake with your order please contact us straight away. If you have ordered the wrong size, product, colour, etc, please email us within 24 hours of placing your order and we will happily sort this out for you. Emails received after this time may mean your order cannot be altered.

PLEASE NOTE that addresses cannot be changed as they go through a verification process with Shopify and we cannot change this due to security reasons. The address you give us when placing your order will be the address the item will be delivered to.

I WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER - As we produce each item on a 'made to order basis', we can only accept Order Cancellations WITHIN 24 HOURS of the original order being placed.  Cancellations after this time will not be accepted and you will still be charged. If your cancellation is successful you will receive a cancellation email acknowledgement within this timeframe.  If you do not, please send a follow up email to reconfirm. 

Please note that Refunds can take up to 10 working days to be processed.

Every single order is quality checked before postage, but we are very sorry your order has arrived damaged or broken.  Please email us at outsidetherain@gmail.com with photos and we will happily look into what has happened and into arranging a potential refund or exchange.
